Our Impact

NRT & Associates is proud of its accomplishments and believes that much of its current work will lead to improving the lives of children and adults who have been shortchanged by society. Our impact can be described as:

• Maximizing the inclusion of minority, female, and disadvantaged businesses on public and private construction projects.

• Providing leadership for a mobilization program for minority contractors to help bridge the funding gap caused by payment delays,

• Coordinating technical assistance and trainings to foster small business growth.

• Coordinating construction skills trainings for unemployed and underemployed individuals that results in career path placement and a living wage while at the same time helps to address a growing labor shortage.

• Assisting in the creation of a program that increases the utilization of minority-owned subcontractors and creates jobs for local residents.

• Educating communities and empowering families to become strong advocates for children who are struggling to learn.

• Providing for the first time in history the voice of African American families on issues of race in special education.
