The Firm

NRT & Associates, Inc. was founded in 1986 in Columbus, Ohio by Nancy R. Tidwell. 

The firm has provided project and organization management services for a variety of clients for many years. However, a major portion of NRT's work has been to serve as a diversity and inclusion consultant for owners and developers on both public and private projects that have MBE (Minority Business Enterprise) and WBE (Women Business Enterprise) goals in addition to other underrepresented businesses and Section 3 HUD (U.S. Housing and Urban Development) requirements for contract awards and employment.

NRT & Associates Inc. has been recognized by the Ohio Department of Development for outstanding service to the state and has been certified in the past for specific projects by the following:

• • City of Columbus Minority Business Enterprise (MBE) program;

  • State of Ohio Women-owned Business Enterprise (WBE) program;

  • Ohio Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) Unified Certification Program (in cooperation with the Federal Department of Transportation and municipal, county, and state organizations).

NRT & Associates has also served as an NCCER (National Center for Construction Education & Research) Accredited Training Sponsor (ATS).
